Grey Street, Newcastle, England

I have been fortunate enough to spend the past couple summers exploring Newcastle, England and surrounding areas. Grey Street cuts through the City Centre, creating a dramatic curve of 19th century Georgian architecture clad with charming stained glass facades and Corinthian columns. Since I walked to most of my destinations around the city during these stays, I often found myself walking alongside the architecture. This served as a constant reminder of the city's stunning design.

When crossing the threshold into the spaces along Grey Street, you rapidly transition from 1840 to the present. The interiors are updated and contemporary, resembling even those I was familiar with back home in Florida. I hope to experience the charming historical character of Grey Street again in the future!
